Matt Cardle performs live in London

X Factor 2010 champion Matt Cardle may be surpassed by third place boy band “One Direction” but that will definitely pose as a hindrance for him to keep singing!

Matt Cardle was unsure of what to expect, but as he began to sing Matt poured his heart out. He performed each track from his new hit album ‘Letters’. It was mind-blowing and extraordinary. The crowd cherished every minute of the program. The big moment was especially when Matt devoted the X Factor winning single ‘When We Collide’ to his friends and family, as they supported them throughout his career.

The celebrity just could not hold back his tears throughout majority of the performance. He was constantly looking for appreciation from the audience. It became pretty evident when Matt wanted to separate himself from his X Factor fame. Matt Cardle has definitely achieved the target of being a good performer.

Matthew Sheridan better known as “Matt” Cardle is an acclaimed English singer and songwriter who catapulted to fame after winning the 7th series of The X Factor in the year 2010. His album sold over 439,000 copies in the opening week and turned out to be the number one song for Christmas in UK.

The 1st single number “Run for Your Life” had its 1st radio play in the year 2011. After the release of X Factor performance, “Run for Your Life” released and was placed at number 6 on the charts of UK Top 40. Another song “Starlight” from his album was released in the month of December last year.

“Letters” sold over 300,000 copies and was credited for a platinum disc. This made Cardle the 4th X Factor winner to do so for any first album.

CARDLE SET FOR BOSTON

Matt Cardle, the highly successful X Factor winner is going to perform at a concert event in Boston. The 28-year old singer who won the hearts of a million fans after he triumphed the 2010 X Factor is going to appear at a show in May at the Boston Town FC grounds.

Mick Vines, the club chairman at the Boston Town FC is going to organize the concert. He believes the concert will draw a crowd of at least 4000 people but the grounds can hold up to 10000. Mick says believes that Matt Cardle appeals to a broad range of fans and as a result this concert is going to be a huge event for Boston. Some of the other major artists that Mick considered for the show included names like Olly Murs and Peter Andre. However he had to drop them both as they were unavailable.

Matt Cardle will also be accompanied by four other local acts and possibly another participant from the X Factor, though this hasn’t been confirmed yet. Provided the concert becomes successful this year, Mick is planning to make it a yearly event and will bring another artist the next year.

This year the concert is going to be held on Saturday, May 26th. The stadium doors will be opened at 3:30 pm and the concert will begin at 5:00 pm. Matt Cardle will be the last attraction of the evening and the show will be wrapped up by about 10:00 pm. This will be followed by fireworks. The profits from this concert will be invested for the football club.
Matt did a cover version of the Biffy Clyro song Many of Horror after he won the X Factor. In March this year he is going to start his first UK solo tour.

CARDLE OUTSELLS OTHERS

After defeating the curse of curse of X Factor, singer Matt Cardle’s much awaited album Letters outsold records from Professor Green, Nicole Scherzinger, Arctic Monkeys, Pixie Lott and The Wanted.

This year, Matt is all set for further success when his first headline United Kingdom tour will be followed by a star appearance at the Young Scot Awards.

Matt told that he is really honored and it will be a pleasure to be at the Young Scot awards. In 2011, Matt Cardle shifted 220,000 albums and Letters smashed through the 300,000 United Kingdom  sales barrier, this week, to gain a sought after platinum disc.

Since he won X Factor, Matt’s success is taken for granted and therefore the chiefs are always asking for more. Cardle stated that the people from the label were telling that if he was a new performer, he would have broken and sold more than 200,000 copies and there would have been a champagne shower everywhere.

The star also told that this is the context and it is because of X Factor. Matt was off for 2 weeks during Christmas but Matt just wanted to keep on going as it is a very critical moment for him. The singer just does not want to spend time by drinking beer.

The album is still doing well and he want to tour to lift it again and get the third one out that is going to happen in February. The singer, who has lately clicked with Sarah Robinson, his girlfriend at the premiere of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, told that he want the new one to sound more raw.

His headline tour starts on 1st March. His fans, of course, can see Matt at the Young Scot Awards in Glasgow.
